Swiss Ceramic “6” White Ball Bearing (CWB2)

These bearings are made with six balls instead of the mostly used seven balls. The idea behind is that the slightly increased diameter of the six balls cause an increased momentum: once they reached the optimum speed, this speed is contained during a longer period of time. The balls are made in white ceramic material, causing increased hardness compared to steel. Ceramic balls are corrosion resistant. Remark: the cover is made of steel, so cleaning the bearings after skating in wet conditions is still recommended. The advantage of ceramic balls compared to steel ball is mainly the fact that ceramic balls don’t often get stuck, so they are less likely damaged by wear. The bearing covers are open at one side and the other side has a removable shield (partly steel/partly rubber), making them easy to clean. These bearings are packed par sixteen pieces in a round designed tin box
